Analyst Program

Ewing Bemiss & Co. offers a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to build a solid foundation in investment banking. Our analysts are provided with the opportunity to work on middle-market transactions, which affords them several key advantages typically unavailable at the "bulge-bracket" level firms, including:

        • Participation in client meetings
        • Assisting with drafting descriptive memoranda
        • Developing valuation models and analyses
        • Conducting industry research
        • Increased responsibility on deal teams

Ewing Bemiss & Co. analysts work on a variety of projects, providing analysts with exposure to a range of industries and transaction types. During the two-year program, analysts actively participate in and contribute to every stage of the deal process and are encouraged to accept additional responsibility to foster their professional growth and development.

Investment Banking Intern (Summer Analyst)

An intern joining Ewing Bemiss & Co. is assigned immediately to tasks that are relevant to current deal assignments as well as higher-level projects instrumental in supporting the Company’s business development strategies. An intern is quickly introduced to a financial analyst’s daily responsibilities and will develop skills in financial and technical analysis, creation and maintenance of databases, firm marketing and industry research. Interns will also benefit from working directly with senior level directors to develop independent projects, which will be presented at the end of the intern program. A successful intern will develop a thorough understanding of investment banking through meaningful involvement in all aspects of the deal process within all levels of the company.

Due to the fast paced nature of investment banking, interns must be able to learn quickly by being inquisitive, motivated and forward-thinking. Interns must possess outstanding written and oral communication skills as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, Ewing Bemiss & Co. will expect candidates to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational competency and an inherent drive to succeed. If you think that you possess these attributes and are interested in learning more about middle-market investment banking, then Ewing Bemiss & Co. may be the place for you.
